Oxyfi has been awarded a new contract by a Nordic train operator for the procurement, integration, and installation of high-performance Gigabit LAN infrastructure onboard its fleet of rail vehicles.
The scope of the assignment covers the full project lifecycle—from requirements analysis and network design to delivery, integration, and commissioning of robust onboard networks. The solution is built on Oxyfi’s proven expertise in networking for the transportation sector, with a strong emphasis on performance, reliability, and long-term scalability.
The new LAN infrastructure enables high-bandwidth connectivity for several mission-critical applications such as passenger WiFi, real-time sensor data and automatic passenger counting. It is designed to meet demanding requirements for EMC, vibration resistance, and operational availability in challenging railway environments.
