Oxyfi develops intelligent and open system solutions.
Our solutions consist of software and hardware. The software´s central parts run on redundant servers or in the so-called “cloud” and other local parts execute on an onboard-computer in the vehicle.
Oxyfi develops software in-house, this means that we can easily customize our solutions for specific customer requirements.
We provides all necessary hardware including fitting-consumables for installation in road and rail vehicles. Examples of hardware that we provide are detachable cables for carriage crossovers, antennas, on-board computers, WiFi-APs and rubber edge trim. A complete train-set installation may contain up to 300 unique components.
Hardware supplied by Oxyfi comply to the European mandatory fire safety standard EN 45545 for railway applications and the E-mark for bus applications.
Vehicles operating on European rail must comply with EN 50121. This comprehensive norm defines requirements regarding e.g. electrical surges, electrostatic discharge and radio interference, EMC. EN 50155 addresses the essential requirements in the European railway system compatibility directive for electronic equipment; it refers to EN 50121-3-2 that defines EMC requirements specifically for on-board apparatus.
There are several methods available to ensure that a rail vehicle meets the required safety and compatibility directives. Oxyfi supplies equipment that complies with EN 50155/EN 50121 and/or other standards that are required by authorities and our customers to ensure compliance with regulations.
