Solutions

Oxyfi provides in-house developed solutions tailored to fast moving vehicles that operates in challenging environments where mobile networks may have shortcomings of various kinds.

The solutions we deliver consist of software, vehicle-mounted equipment, antenna arrays, data centres and backhauling networks as well as mobile connectivity through 3G/4G/5G. Together, these systems produce the services we offer to our customers.

A complex problem that we solve is to effectively manage tens of thousands of connected computers and other digital units, which in our case also travels on wheels. We develop support systems to ensure – over time and over technology shifts – that the right software version and configuration are available on all units. This is a major challenge within IoT (Internet of Things) in general and something that definitely also applies to modern vehicles.

Depending on type of vehicle, different industrial requirements are relevant for the onboard equipment.

All equipment delivered by Oxyfi to the railway industri comply with applicable EU-standards, among these are particularly noticeable:

  • The European mandatory fire safety standard EN 45545
  • The comprehensive standard EN 50121, which defines requirements regarding electrical interference, electrostatic discharge and radio interference
  • EN 50155, which refers to EN 50121-3-2, and which defines EMC requirements specifically for built-in devices. EN 50155 addresses essential requirements of the European Railway System Compatibility Directive for electronic equipment

For the bus-industry we deliver equipment with E-marking.
